Official talks were held today at Al
Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi between the United Arab Emirates and the
Kingdom of Morocco.
Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum led the UAE side, in presence of Gen. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The Moroccan side was led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI who arrived in the UAE earlier today.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance fraternal relations between the two countries, as well as issues of mutual interest and regional developments.
Present were Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Tourism and Culture Authority - Abu Dhabi, Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami, Minister of Education, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Labour, Dr Hadef Jawan Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice, Dr Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Dr Maitha Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State, and a number of senior officials.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Moroccan King and his accompanying delegation.
