Saudi Acwa picks Spanish consortium for Morocco power project
Saudi Arabia's Acwa Power International
has selected a Spanish consortium comprising Acciona, Sener and TSK to
build its solar power plant in Morocco's southern city of Ouarzazate,
Reuters has reported. Acwa won the $1bn deal to build the 160 MW plant
in Morocco in September. Set to start production in the second half of
2015, the plant is part of a plan to produce 500 MW of solar power each
year in the city.
